- "The Republic moved before we did, sending a full fleet to Oricon. Its armada was undone by the Masters' powers of fear and madness. Our task force followed--a rapid strike deployment led by one Lord Hargrev, upon the insistence of Darth Rictus. Hargrev is a braggart and a sadist, but he has studied our foe. He believed that he and his acolytes could shield our task force from the Masters' power."
- ―Darth Marr explains the situation on Oricon to Imperial heroes
The Dread Executioners were a group of Sith Lords and Imperial Military personnel that were dispatched by Darth Rictus in 3637 BBY to the moon of Oricon to eliminate the Dread Masters during the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. Lord Hargrev was the Sith commander of the organization, with Maiya Vix as his Imperial military adjutant. They had a camp west of the Dread Fortress.
Behind the scenes
The Dread Executioners appeared in Game Update 2.4 of the BioWare-LucasArts 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic as a reputation organization for Imperial player characters. Imperial faction player characters could increase their reputation with the unit by completing missions in the Oricon daily area. Strike Team Oricon was the organization available to Republic faction player characters.[5]
