This species was a sentient species that existed in the galaxy. The Fifth Brother was a member of this species.[1]

Biology and appearance

This humanoid sentient species was distinguished by their Light mint[2] or greyish-blue colored skin,[3] pale gray-green eyes,[2] sharp teeth, and ornate symmetrical grooves spread across their face.[1]

Species in the galaxy

A family of this species was found on the planet Artemesium, prior to its ruin due to strip mining. A child from this family was taken by the Jedi Order before this event,[2] eventually becoming the Inquisitor known as the Fifth Brother.[1]

The species first appeared in the fourth episode of the second season of the animated television series Star Wars Rebels,[1] directed by Bosco Ng[4] and aired on October 21, 2015.[5] They later made their live action debut in the first episode of the limited television series Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi,[3] directed by Deborah Chow[6] and aired on May 26, 2022.[7]

The design was based on unused artwork from the 2015 film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, the first installment of the Star Wars sequel trilogy.[8] The artwork, depicting a Sith, was drawn by Christian Alzmann and was labeled Villain 03 early in the production of the film.[9] The Star Wars Encyclopedia booklet "Darth Maul and Other Followers of the Dark Side" mistakenly lists the Fifth Brother as human.[10]
