"Ice Breaking" is a comic strip written by Martin Fisher, drawn by Bob Molesworth and edited by Gunther Nickel. The story was published in the sixteenth issue of the Star Wars Rebels Magazine series by Egmont UK Ltd, which was released on March 23, 2016.
According to Fisher, the story takes place between the Star Wars Rebels episodes "The Future of the Force" and "Legacy."[3]
Plot summary
Kanan Jarrus takes his apprentice, Ezra Bridger, to the frozen planet of Bilzen in Wild Space to practice his connection to the Force and improve his Jedi training. They use the Phantom shuttle for their journey. The training session is interrupted when the Jedi-hunting Inquisitors, the Fifth Brother and the Seventh Sister, track them down and confront them. Kanan and Ezra must work together to fend off the Inquisitors and make a quick escape from the planet's frozen caverns.
