Inquisitors 2 is the second issue of the 2024 canon comic miniseries Star Wars: Inquisitors. The issue was written by Rodney Barnes, illustrated by Ramon Rosanas and Guru-eFX, and published by Marvel Comics on August 8, 2024.

tracking down the elusive Jedi hero TENSU RUN.

While the GRAND INQUISITOR did not succeed in this
mission, perhaps the FIFTH BROTHER of the Inquisitorius
will be victorious….

Plot summary

Vader's warning

After the Grand Inquisitor fails to capture Tensu Run, a displeased Darth Vader puts the Fifth Brother in charge of the hunt. He warns the Inquisitor that Tensu is more powerful than he seems and that failure will not be tolerated.

Tensu's background

In the flashback, pre-Order 66 Tensu Run who wants to actively fight the Empire. His master cautions against acting too hastily.

Confrontation with the Fifth Brother

The story culminates in a lightsaber duel between Tensu Run and the Fifth Brother on the forgotten battlefield of Gerrigon.

A message for the Inquisitorius

Tensu uses "Jedi trickery" to severely injure the Fifth Brother, cutting off his arm. He then leaves the Inquisitor alive to crawl back to Mustafar and deliver a message to the others that he will not be taken easily.

A hint of a turning point

Reviews suggest that Tensu's decision to spare his opponent, despite his growing anger, is a sign of a moral struggle. He admits to his companions that he feels anger and frustration, and this overconfidence could be his downfall.

Retaliation from the Grand Inquisitor

The Grand Inquisitor reveals to Vader that he executed Tensu Run's former master to provoke him, hoping Run's anger would lead to mistakes. Tensu learns of his master's death and decides to turn the hunt on the Inquisitors, setting up the conflict.
