"It is said that this secret hot spring was made to heal the battle wounds of the knights. Did you come to heal here too, sir?"
"Something like that."
―Shogun and the Ronin[1]

A secret hot spring was located on Mount Hakamori, a snowy mountain on an astronomical object. It was said to have been made to heal the battle wounds of Jedi knights and was eventually forgotten by many. One night, the former Sith known as the Ronin and his astromech droid R5-D56 visited the hot spring and bathed in it. They soon were joined by a Jedi known as Shogun and their astromech droid. While the Ronin and Shogun drank sake together and reflected on their experiences fighting in the Sith rebellion, R5-D56 gambled with a group of Ewoks. When the sun rose in the morning, the Ronin and Shogun left together.

A secret hot spring was located on[1] Mount Hakamori,[2] a snowy mountain on an astronomical object. The spring was divided into two sections, one of which was surrounded by flat rectangular stones. Around the spring were several devices with long poles, at the top of which were red lights. A small structure with green lights was next to the spring, near which a black tube ran into the spring. A small slope was behind the spring, atop which was another small structure. Snow-covered trees grew around the hot spring.[1]

History

"He also said it is 'the one and only place to purify your soul.' Well, I don't know what that means."
"Purify the soul…Well, the hot spring and sake is good enough to purify me, hahaha."
―The Ronin and Shogun[1]

The secret hot spring was said to have been made to heal the battle wounds of Jedi knights and was eventually forgotten by many. One night,[1] the former Sith[3] known as the Ronin and his astromech droid[1] R5-D56[3] visited the hot spring. After the Ronin left his lightsaber underneath one of the structures, he and R5-D56 entered the separated sections of the spring, and the Ronin drank sake while bathing. They were soon approached by a Jedi known as Shogun and their astromech droid. Shogun was surprised to see others in the spring and asked to join, which the Ronin permitted.[1]

Shogun entered the same section of the spring as the Ronin, while their droid joined R5-D56. As they stepped in, Shogun commented that the spring was nice, but would be better if they had sake, and the Ronin offered to share his, which Shogun accepted. As they drank, Shogun told the Ronin why the spring was said to have been created and offered him a massage, which he declined. The two then reflected on their experiences fighting in[1] the Sith rebellion, a war between the Jedi clans and the Sith,[4] and Shogun mentioned they were seeking the Temple of Elujoji on the planet Sukalan. The Ronin informed Shogun they had heard from their teacher that one could purify their soul at the temple, and Shogun joked that that the hot spring and sake were enough to purify them.[1]

While they spoke, R5-D56 gambled with a group of four Ewoks sitting around the edge of the hot spring. Shogun then said they would have liked to take the Ronin to a nearby casino, but that it was closed. When the sun rose, the two exited the hot spring and traveled away from it together with their droids.[1]
