- "Go to the planet Sukalan. And visit the temple Elujoji."
"What awaits there…?"
"Truth." - ―The Father and Shogun
Sukalan was a terrestrial planet where the Temple of Elujoji was located. Near the end of a war[1] between the Jedi clans and the Sith,[2] the Jedi known as Shogun had a vision of[1] a god[3] called the Father, who told them to go to Sukalan and visit the temple, where they would find "truth".[1] Years later,[4] when Shogun met[1] the former Sith[2] known as the Ronin, they told him about their vision of the Father and how they were still searching for the planet, which they had never heard of. The Ronin had heard of the temple, but did not know its location.[1]
Behind the scenes
Sukalan was mentioned in the non-canon comic Visions 1, written and illustrated by Takashi Okazaki,[1] and published by Marvel Comics on October 12, 2022.[5]
