"I don't know where it is…but I heard about that temple from…a teacher. 'The truth of the galaxy is there.' He also said it is the 'one and only place to purify your soul.' Well I don't know what that means."
―The Ronin to Shogun[1]

The Temple of Elujoji, or simply the temple Elujoji, was a temple on the planet Sukalan. The Force-sensitive human who would eventually be known as the Ronin once heard about the temple from their teacher, who told their student that "the truth of the galaxy" was there and that it was the only place where one could purify their soul. Near the end of a war[1] between the Jedi clans and the Sith,[2] the Jedi known as Shogun had a vision of[1] a god[3] called the Father, who told them to go to Sukalan and visit the temple, where they would find "truth".[1] Years later,[4] when Shogun met the Ronin, they told him about their vision of the Father and that they were still searching for the temple. The Ronin told Shogun what he had learned about the temple from his teacher, but said he did not know the temple's location or what his teacher had meant.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Temple of Elujoji was mentioned in the non-canon one-shot comic Visions 1, written and illustrated by Takashi Okazaki,[1] and published by Marvel Comics on October 12, 2022.[5]
