The title of this article is conjectural. Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

Around 6 BBY,^[1] a theft occurred at the naval yard in Lozash, in which an Imperial masking unit was among the items taken. A year later,^[2] in 5 BBY,^[1] a rebel pilot who had ran supplies for Kreegyr and his group utilized the masking device while traveling to the Ring of Kafrene^[2] in the Expansion Region.^[3] The pilot, using the masking device, flashed an Imperial-listed profile for a brief moment, but was ultimately captured by the Empire, who discovered the masking device and its origin point from the Lozash naval yard.^[2]
