Neo-Republicans were rebel cells around the galaxy that fought against the Galactic Empire in favor of allegiance to the late Galactic Republic. Maya Pei was a leading figure in the neo-Republican movement, leading Maya Pei Brigade[1] around 5 BBY.[2] They were active participants in the early insurgency against Imperial rule, however other anti-Imperial movements such as the Partisans led by Saw Gerrera refused to work with them.[1]
