Tharben

Tharben was a terrestrial planet in^[2] the Mid Rim Territories^[2] and the Slice, near the edge of Hutt Space along the Ootmian Pabol. The planet was home to a Jedi outpost of the Jedi Order and had a security patrol subsidized by the Galactic Republic. Due to rising crime in the Slice, the guilds on the Ootmian began to abandon the route, leading the Republic's subsidies to end. Tharben's Jedi outpost was subsequently shut down due to low usage, with the Jedi not wishing to leave the materials within unattended in an unstable region. As a result, pirate gang activity on the planet increased. With security and safety now a concern, many citizens fled Tharben. When the Jedi High Council were discussing the potential closure of the outpost on the planet Kwenn, Jedi Master Mace Windu mentioned Tharben alongside Keldooine and Ord Jannak after Master Adi Gallia brought up the same reasoning for those outposts being closed.^[2]
