Ord Jannak was a terrestrial planet situated along the Ootmian Pabol in the Slice. The Jedi Order had a Jedi outpost on Ord Jannak during the Republic Era. As the Ord Jannak outpost was not frequently used, the Jedi shut it down, preferring not to risk leaving the materials within unattended in a region that was unstable. Shortly after the closure of the outpost, the Jedi High Council debated similarly shutting down the outpost on the planet Kwenn, during which Jedi Master Mace Windu named Ord Jannak alongside Tharben and Keldooine when Master Adi Gallia brought up the same reason that those outposts were closed.^[2]
