Plot summary

Causing chaos

In Wild Space, the Star Herald was docked at a space station. Onboard, BB-00 "Boo" accused Emil Graf of stealing his laser-calipers. Emil Graf denied the droid's claims and said that he did not even know what a laser-caliper was. CR-8R "Crater" translated Boo's beeps for Graf. Before Crater could finish translating an insult, Graf interrupted him, and told them that this seemed like a case of mistaken identity.

On the planet Tatooine, Max Rebo was walking through the streets of Mos Eisley, happy that Jabba Desilijic Tiure was bringing his entourage into town. But the residents of Mos Eisley were not happy to see Rebo. Rebo questioned what was going on but one of the residents accused him of taking his money. They started to chase the little Ortolan until he ran into a few stormtroopers, knocking them over. The angry stormtroopers confronted Rebo from one side while the angry residents appeared behind him. But all of the sudden, Rebo's brother, Azool Phantelle came to his rescue and grabbed him up in his landspeeder.

Phantelle drove through a market in Mos Eisley. He knocked down merchant stalls, ran over droids, and angered the residents even more. The bounty hunter, Boushh took out a missile launcher and took a shot at them but the explosion only caused more destruction around them. Rebo did not like to see all these people mad. He took matters into his own hands and took the money that his brother had stolen and through it at the angry crowd. Money went all over the place and people started to fight with each other over whose money was whose.

The angry Hutt

Phantelle was angry with Rebo for throwing out the money he stole but he was interrupted by a more angry Jabba Desilijic Tiure. Max Rebo tried to reason with Jabba the Hutt, telling him that he found out the his criminal brother was working in Jabba's territory and he was trying to mend the situation. Realizing what was going on, Jabba grabbed Phantelle and warned him that he was lucky that Jabba did not kill him but he did have a job for him.

Later on Jabba's sail barge, the Khetanna, Jabba employed Azool Phantelle to serve drinks, hoping that it would teach him respect while everyone was having a party with Max Rebo and his band providing the music.

Back on the Star Herald, Emil Graf climbed up a latter and found the laser-caliper, in the bed of his Kowakian monkey-lizard, Noni. Realizing his mistake of missing identity, Boo made up the excuse of having trouble telling Graf and Noni apart.

  2. As shown in "The Lost Stories, Part 3," the events of all the Star Wars Adventures: Tales from Wild Space comics are set a relatively short time apart. "Tales from Wild Space: The Best Pet" depicts CR-8R being aware of the events following those of Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi, and "The Lost Stories, Part 1" features the First Order. Star Wars: Timelines places The Last Jedi and fall of the First Order to 34 ABY and 35 ABY, respectively. Therefore, the Star Wars Adventures: Tales from Wild Space comics must take place at some point between those years.
  3. Ultimate Star Wars, New Edition places the events of Tales from Wild Space: "The Blue Brothers" between the Battle of Yavin and Jabba Desilijic Tiure's death.
