A cartographer was an individual who made maps. Following the establishment of the Galactic Empire at the end of the Clone Wars, exploration of Wild Space resumed, which allowed cartographers to make a decent living selling new maps of the mysterious region. The spouses Auric and Rhyssa Graf were both cartographers,[2] as was their descendant Emil Graf.[3]
