CR-8R, also referred to as "Crater," was a prim, masculine-programmed droid who belonged to the Graf family. He was built by Rhyssa Graf[1] from a mash-up of different droid models, including the lower half of a Viper probe droid, the right arm of a 3PO-series protocol droid,[2] the left arm of a load lifter droid,[3] the barrel-shaped shell of an astromech droid, and the head of an antique Mark IV architect droid.[2] CR-8R participated in a mission to the Outer Rim.[4]
