A home in the town of Jaunta's Hope on the Outer Rim moon Toshara. Two beings, Saya and Lo'no, choose to stash items in and on top of the building by 3 ABY. A R5 astromech with access to the home had its motivation actuator stolen by thieves when it was right outside the home and rendered it unable to move.
Description
The building was located in the town of Jaunta's Hope on the Outer Rim moon Toshara. Inside it had four rooms separated by archways and one door leading outside and another in the bedroom. The four rooms consisted of an entry, a kitchen, a lounge and a bedroom. The building had a deployable ladder on its roof allowing beings to access the roof.[1]
History
Stashing valuables
By 3 ABY,[2] an individual named Saya stashed a Canto Pass game piece in a container in the home. By the same time, a copy of Jet Kordo journal entry on Jaunta's Hope and a copy of episode 15 of Family of the Frontier Worlds had been stored at the home. Another individual named Lo'no stashed a amberwoven carpet in a container on the roof of the home.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] a R5 astromech had access to the home but was rendered incapable of moving outside the home after thieves stole the droid's motivation actuator.[1]
Unmotivated droid

- "'Thieves have stolen my motivation actuator. Please end my humiliation.' That's what the little guy said."
"Aren't you gonna help?"
"Not my droid." - ―Human mechanic translating a R5 droid to Kay Vess
While the astromech droid was stuck outside, a human named Kay Vess approached the droid and commented on its apparent bad day. The droid responded in binary by telling Vess what happened and asking for help. Seeing that Vess did not understand the droid, a nearby mechanic translated what the droid said into Galactic Basic for Vess. Afterward Vess asked the human if they were planning to help the droid, to which they responded that it wasn't their droid.
Vess returned to the droid later with a replacement motivation actuator. After installing it into the droid, the human, still sitting nearby, translated the droid's appreciation for Vess before the droid headed into the home; allowing Vess to enter as well. Once inside Vess stole the Canto pass game piece, the copy of the holodrama episode and the journal entry.[1] During the same year,[2] Vess used her Slicer kit to deploy the ladder leading to the roof and allowing her to steal the carpet from Lo'no's stash.[1]
Behind the scenes
The building appeared in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It was related to the "Motivation actuator" intel quest and the location of four different game collectibles. Completing the "Motivation actuator" quest gives players access to The Datapad trinket, an episode of Family of the Frontier Worlds and one of Kordo's journal entries. Once players complete "The Slicer" expert quest they will be able to access the roof and retrieve the amberwoven carpet speeder trophy.[1]
