Carpet as a floor covering used in the galaxy. On the Outer Rim Territories moon Toshara, a type of carpet was made with woven strands of amberine.[2] Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin's quarters on the Death Star had a carpet made of Coruscant fiberweave.[3]
Behind the scenes
Carpet was first mentioned in the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope by Princess Leia as an derogatory term for the Wookiee Chewbacca.[1]
