The game involved multiple players with the goal of gaining the most points through playing several shaped pieces, each with their own abilities and uses in the game. Canto Pass pieces came in four varieties: Boons (which earned points), duds (which were worth negative points), tricks (which allowed special moves), and threats (which allowed other special moves). Game pieces could be found on planets like Tatooine, Akiva, Kijimi, and the moon Toshara by 3 ABY.[1]
Behind the scenes
Canto Pass was first seen in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws,[1] where pieces used in the game appeared as collectible vehicle cosmetics across the game.
