- "More bread?"
"A samana spiced loaf. We just wanted to help." - ―Keeve Trennis and Neeso, after Neeso and Reeta approach Trennis with food
Samana spiced loaf was a type of bread. During the High Republic Era, it was eaten by residents of a colony on the Outer Rim planet Sedri Minor. In 232 BBY, the Rodian couple Neeso and Reeta carried a bowl of samana spiced loaf to the Jedi flagship Ataraxia to offer help to a group of Jedi who had traveled to the colony.
After arriving at the Ataraxia, the two saw that a pair of children from the colony had the same idea and had taken freshly baked bucco bread to Jedi Knight Keeve Trennis. The Jedi Knight asked if the Rodians had brought her more bread, and Neeso informed her of what it was. Neeso then held the bowl as the couple spoke with Trennis and also as they were ushered away from the Jedi by Speaker Kalo Sulman.

History
- "The Jedi don't need your food, and they certainly don't need your rumor-mongering."
"It's fine…really it is…" - ―Kalo Sulman and Keeve Trennis, as the speaker takes the colonists away from the Jedi Knight
By 232 BBY,[2] during the High Republic Era, the members of a colony on[1] the Outer Rim[3] planet Sedri Minor consumed samana spiced loaf.[1] That year,[2] the Kotabi Jedi Knight[4] Ceret traveled to the colony after learning a derelict Hutt ship had come from Sedri Minor. While on the planet,[5] Ceret went missing after being captured and infected by sentient carnivorous plants known as the Drengir,[6] causing[5] their[4] bond-twin Terec to scream out in pain,[5] having also been inflicted due to the twin's shared mind.[6]
Reeta (far right) and Neeso (center right) brought a samana spiced loaf to the Ataraxia, which they offered to Jedi Knight Keeve Trennis (center left).
Afterward, Terec, Jedi Knight Keeve Trennis, and Jedi Master Avar Kriss traveled to Sedri Minor on the Jedi[1] flagship[7] Ataraxia. Having learned of Ceret's disappearance and of Terec's infliction, two members of the colony on Sedri Minor—the Rodian couple Reeta and[1] Neeso[8]—brought a bowl with a samana spiced loaf in it to the Ataraxia in an attempt to help the Jedi, with Neeso holding it. After arriving, the Rodians saw that two other members of the colony—the human boy Bartol and a Gran child—had come up with the same idea as them and taken freshly baked bucco bread to the Jedi, which Trennis had taken, and Neeso noted it. The Jedi Knight then asked the couple if they had brought more bread, to which Neeso informed[1] her[5] that it was a samana spiced loaf and that they wanted to help.[1]
Neeso continued to hold the bowl as Reeta asked Trennis about her Jedi friend, which the Jedi Knight responded to by stating she was sure the Force was with Ceret and Terec. The Rodians then informed Trennis that others had disappeared like her friend, including their son Julus. As the three continued to talk, the colony's[1] speaker—the Artiodac Kalo Sulman[4]—arrived and attempted to dismiss the concerns of the colonists regarding the disappearances. As Sulman took the colonists away from Trennis, stating that the Jedi did not need their food or their "rumor-mongering," Neeso carried the bowl.[1]
