Rystan was a cold, inhospitable planet located in[4] Wild Space.[1] A freezing world, it maintained a habitable zone that could sustain some life, including creatures like the slarga. At one point after the Battle of Kur, Marchion Ro, the Eye of the Nihil, met with his cousin Kufa on Rystan, requesting that she take him and the Talortai Udi Dis to a location known as the Shrine in the Golamaran ice flats.[4]
