Ombakond sector

The Ombakond sector was a sector in the galaxy's Expansion Region.^[1] It contained the desert planet Pasaana, homeworld of the Aki-Aki species.^[3]

Behind the scenes

The entry for the Middian system in the "Star Systems of the Galaxy" appendix published in June 2025 lists the Ombakond sector (misspelled as Ombakand) as a subsector of the Altier sector, though the sector is not listed as such for any of the other systems in the Ombakand sector.^[1] The appendix's author Jason Fry indicated that this was an error, and that Pasaana would either be kept in the Altier sector, or its placement on the Star Wars Galaxy Map would be adjusted to put it correctly in the Ombakond sector.^[5]
