The Middian system,[6] also known as the Pasaana system,[5] was a star system[4] located in the Ombakond sector of the galaxy's Expansion Region that contained the desert planet[3] Pasaana.[4]
Behind the scenes
While Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary places Pasaana in the Ombakond sector,[3] comparing Pasaana's location on the Star Wars Galaxy Map[7] with the sector map of the Expansion Region in the Star Wars Legends continuity places Pasaana in the Altier sector rather than the Ombakond sector.[8] Accordingly, the 2025 "Star Systems of the Galaxy" appendix of star systems lists the Pasaana system in the "Ombakand" [sic] subsector of the Altier sector, although all other systems in the Ombakond sector simply list Ombakond in their sector column, and are located in a different grid square.[1] The appendix's author Jason Fry indicated that this was an error, and that Pasaana would either be kept in the Altier sector, or its placement on the Galaxy Map would be adjusted to put it correctly in the Ombakond sector.[9] The October 13 iteration of both the Galaxy Map and the appendix reflected this, moving Pasaana slightly northeast to match its placement in the Ombakond sector.[10]
