The Nixor system was located in the galaxy's Mid Rim Territories[1] and Slice regions'[2] Eclorar sector.[3] It was situated in grid square Q-12 of the Standard Galactic Grid, where it connected via[1] the Trax Tube[4] hyperroute to Daalang[1] and planet[5] Nanth'ri.[1] In 34 ABY,[6] the Nixor system's galactic location was displayed on a star map displayed aboard several screens on Chandrila Star Line's Star Cruiser Halcyon.[7]

Behind the scenes

The Nixor system was introduced in the current Star Wars canon on the galactic map in Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a 2016 boxed set for Fantasy Flight Games' series of Star Wars Roleplaying products.[1] Its introductory appearance in-universe came from a map included in Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, an immersive roleplaying experience at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida[7] that opened to the public on March 1, 2022,[8] and had its final voyage from September 28 to 30, 2023.[9] The system was later identified as the "Nixor system" in "Star Systems of the Galaxy,"[3] an appendix accompanying the Star Wars Galaxy Map, an article on StarWars.com featuring a map of the galaxy.[10] Both works were authored by Jason Fry and posted on June 24, 2025.[11] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Nixor system first appeared in the young-reader novel Dark Warning, authored by Jude Watson and published in 2005 as the second installment of the Star Wars: The Last of the Jedi series.[12]

This assumes that the name "Trax Tube," as used in Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon 43 Guide to the Galaxy: Kashyyyk's Fight for Freedom, applies to the canon hyperspace route depicted on the map that matches the depiction of the Star Wars Legends route with the same name in The Essential Atlas per BlueskyLogo Jason Fry (@jasoncfry.bsky.social.) on Bluesky (post on January 3, 2025): "They are indeed the same. Same galaxy, same map. In the rare event something needs to be changed, it will be discussed. (In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).
