The Trax Tube was a Mid Rim Territories hyperspace route[1] that was also part of the Slice region of the galaxy.[2] It had one terminus at[5] the planet[7] Randon which acted as a junction onto[5] the Ootmian Pabol,[7] the Pabol Sleheyron, and the Randon Run.[8] The Trax Tube then traveled down through the astronomical objects Deysum and Uogo'cor[6] then the Typhonic Nebula and[5] the planets[9][10] Grange and Varnak.[5]

At the planet[4] Nanth'ri[5] in the Nanth'ri system[4] there was another junction[5] on to the Nanth'ri Trade Route[4] after which the Trax Tube linked to the celestial body Nixor[6] before terminating at the astronomical object Daalang.[5] Daalang was also part of the Gamor Run and was connected to[5] the planet[11]Circumtore and the astronomical object Demiloch by two other routes. On the Standard Galactic Grid, the Trax Tube passed through squares Q-10, Q-11, and Q-12.[5]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Trax Tube was first pictured in "Sectors of the Galaxy," an article in the eighteenth issue of the Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine,[12] which was published around May 6, 2015.[13] It was then identified in "Kashyyyk's Fight for Freedom," an article in the forty-third issue of the same magazine[1] released around October 28, 2015.[14]

This assumes that the name "Trax Tube" applies to the canon hyperspace route depicted on the map that matches the depiction of the Star Wars Legends route with the same name in The Essential Atlas per BlueskyLogo Jason Fry (@jasoncfry.bsky.social.) on Bluesky (post on January 3, 2025): "They are indeed the same. Same galaxy, same map. In the rare event something needs to be changed, it will be discussed. (In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).
