The moon of Barroth was a terrestrial moon[3] located in the Barroth system within the Kriz sector of the Outer Rim[1] and Western Reaches.[2] The moon was situated in grid square K-19 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
By 382 BBY,[4] the human Jedi Master Silandra Sho took her Padawan, the human Rooper Nitani, for training to the moon. During their time on the moon, Nitani practiced Force jumping and, after at least five attempts, she successfully performed a high jump.[3] That year,[4] Nitani made a jump of a similar height to enter an ancient city on the Outer Rim planet Gloam. Afterward, she mentally recalled her training on the moon of Barroth, noting it was the only other instance she had made a jump of that size.[3]
Behind the scenes
The moon of Barroth was mentioned in the 2022 junior novel The High Republic: Quest for the Hidden City, written by George Mann as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[3] Phase II.[5]
