The Barroth system was located in the Kriz sector[3] of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and Western Reaches[2] in grid square K-19 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It contained the terrestrial moon of Barroth, which the human Jedi Master Silandra Sho and her Padawan, the human Rooper Nitani, visited for the latter's training[4] at some point by 382 BBY.[5]
Behind the scenes
The Barroth system was first mentioned in Pablo Hidalgo's 2025 reference book Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Visual Guide on a galaxy map authored by Jason Fry and Christopher Ibbitt.[1] The October 14, 2025 update to[6] "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[3] on June 24 of the same year—with both works being authored by Fry[7]—subsequently identified the system by name.[3]
