The Mission to Planet WG4587 was a mission undertaken by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi to locate and recover Senator Bail Organa and his staff after they crashed in an CR70 corvette on the uncharted Planet WG4587[3] between 40 BBY and 34 BBY.[4] Before they could reach the corvette, the Jedi's T-6 shuttle was destroyed by a kaijura, but the pair escaped the creature and made their way to Organa on foot.[3]
On board the corvette, the Jedi learned the vessel was damaged and that a pack of at least nine kaijura was rapidly approaching. Jinn order the ship to launch and used the Force to aid it, ordering[3] Captain Jeremoch Colton[5] to launch all the vessel's escape pods into a kaijura that grabbed the corvette in mid-air. Once the creature let go, the corvette was able to escape from Planet WG4587 and return safely home.[3]
