The Cassandran Worlds was a historical name for the region of the galaxy that, under the Galactic Empire, was divided into the Cassander sector and its two subsectors, the Tadrin sector and Tendrannan sector.[2] Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas,[4] a human male, hailed from Minashee[5] which was located in the region.[4] The hyperspace route Relgim Run was located there, and during the Imperial Era, the pirate Gunda the Terrible sought to plunder the Cassandran Worlds, at least according to the Galactic Empire.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Cassandran Worlds were originally introduced for the Star Wars Legends brand in 2004, first seen in the Star Wars Roleplaying Game sourcebook Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds as a loose-alliance of multiple planets.[6] In the new Star Wars canon, the Cassandran Worlds were first mentioned in the 2015 sourcebook, Ultimate Star Wars.[4]
