A majordomo was the head (major) person of a domestic staff (domo), one who acted on behalf of a usually absent owner of a typically very large residence or corporation. Anakin Skywalker's childhood friend Kitster Chanchani Banai hoped to one day be a majordomo for a wealthy Mos Espa estate, which he thought was the highest position a slave could obtain.[1]

Numerous majordomos were employed by members of the Hutt Clans as their chief subordinate. The Twi'lek Bib Fortuna was the majordomo of Jabba the Hutt's palace on Tatooine.[2] The Ansionian Ogomoor was another such majordomo who served Soergg the Hutt and his interests on Ansion.[3]

The Yevethan Nil Spaar also had a majordomo that happened to accompany him[4]. Ob Fortuna was the majordomo for Cradossk and the Bounty Hunters' Guild.
