The Lostar sector was a sector in the Expansion Region. In grid square M-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid it contained the Adin, Draria, Sifuchi, and Teya systems. It also contained the Jazbina, Kidriff, Nessem, and Novar systems in grid square M-8,[1] which fell within the Interior.[2]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Lostar sector was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[3] The sector originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in Galaxy Guide 10: Bounty Hunters, a 1994 Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game supplement written by Rick D. Stuart and published by West End Games.[4]
The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, written by Fry and Daniel Wallace, establised that the Kidriff system was part of the Lostar sector,[5] retroactively making Aaron Allston's 1999 novel X-Wing: Solo Command, the seventh book in the Star Wars: X-Wing series, the sector's first appearance. The novel's cover art showed the sector and was created by Paul Youll.[6]
