The Kidriff system was a star system located in the Lostar sector of the Expansion Region. It was situated in grid square M-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] which was also part of the Interior.[2]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Kidriff system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[3] The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in Aaron Allston's 1999 novel X-Wing: Solo Command, the seventh book in the Star Wars: X-Wing series. The novel's cover art showed the system and was created by Paul Youll.[4]
