The Teya system was a star system located in the Lostar sector of the Expansion Region. It was located in grid square M-7 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Teya system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[2] The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in flashbacks in "The Most Dangerous Foe," a short story written by Angela Phillips and published in the eleventh issue of the Star Wars Adventure Journal series, which was published by West End Games in November 1996.[3] It was then identified for the first time in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, which was written by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[4]
