The Julio system was a star system in the Marcol sector of the Inner Rim Territories[1] and the Interior[2] that fell within grid square L-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Julio system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[3]
The system originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it appeared in Rebel Force: Trapped, a 2010 novel by Alex Wheeler that was the fifth installment in the Star Wars: Rebel Forces series.[4] It was then identified in an update to the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Fry.[5]
