The Inner Cluster was a star cluster and sector of the Inner Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] In grid square O-11 of the Standard Galactic Grid, it contained the Cona system,[1] which was the location of the desert planet Cona, homeworld of the sentient Arcona species.[3]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Inner Cluster was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[6]

The sector originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in "Jedi Chef," a non-canon comic written by Randy Stradley and published by Dark Horse Comics in the seventh issue of the Star Wars Tales series[7] on March 7, 2001[8] Its first canonical mention to the Legends continuity then occured in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Fry.[9]
