In 3 ABY, the outlaw Kay Vess and the mechanic Waka, under the commission of Crimson Dawn, infiltrated the Imperial station of Fuel Station Visavi.
Prelude
The outlaw Kay Vess, trapped on the planet of Toshara after escaping from the crime lord Sliro Barsha, received help from the Rodian mechanic Waka to repair the Trailblazer, a ship stolen from Sliro's mansion to provide Vess' escape. After proving to be skilled enough by stealing information from the Pyke Syndicate District for Crimson Dawn, Kay Vess was once again hired by the Crimson Dawn affiliate Eleera Soi. Soi met Vess and Waka near the repaired Trailblazer, introducing them to the job. Soi informed that she requires Vess to infiltrate an Imperial station known as Fuel Station Visavi, in order to delete records of debt the Pyke Syndicate owe to the Galactic Empire. Soi believed that this act can cause the Empire to suspect the Pykes and increase the tension between the Pyke Syndicate and the Empire, creating opportunities for Crimson Dawn to benefit from.[1]
The mission
Reaching the Station
Piloting the repaired Trailblazer, Vess, along with Waka, traveled into Toshara space. Soi informed that Vess can enter the station by taking over a delivery of unprocessed Sansanna from a disabled Darius G-class freighter. After reaching the freighter, the crew was attacked by pirate raiders who also plan to steal the shipment. Vess destroyed the fighters and took the shipment, allowing them to enter the station under the escort of TIE fighters.[1]
Finding the Data Vault
Arriving in a hangar of the station, Vess sneaked pass the Imperial security forces while Waka distracts them. After Vess successfully located the data vault by accessing the terminal, she continued to head towards the vault. While Vess is navigating through the station, Waka suggested that Vess can also betray Soi by framing Crimson Dawn, then informing the Pyke Syndicate leader Gorak Palas to gain their favor instead.[1]
Enter Bosnok
After reaching the data vault, Kay Vess was met by the Gallusian bookkeeper Bosnok. Bosnok threatened to sound the alarm unless he is freed, but also informed that he can assist Vess in deleting the records. Waka informed that Vess needs to hurry it up and decide who to frame, with Vess making the choice and extract Bosnok through his sled.[1]
Escape from the Station
Escorting Bosnok through the station, Vess and Bosnok stumbled upon a gate requiring authorization to open. Vess would then find a terminal to give the sled access and redirect the stormtroopers away from the hangar. After reaching the hangar, Vess would hold out against the Imperial forces while Waka tries to fix and open the cargo ramp for Vess and Bosnok to escape. After escaping from the hangar, Vess fought and destroyed several TIE fighters, with Waka then erasing their wanted status by disrupting Imperial comms.[1]
Aftermath
Returning to Toshara, Kay Vess would meet Soi near the Market District of Mirogana City. Vess received her payment of credits, along with the information on a bounty hunter known as Vail Tormin, who was sent by Zerek Besh to hunt Vess. Soi would then depart, with Vess' reputation increasing among Crimson Dawn and diminishing within the Pyke Syndicate.[1]
Returning to Toshara, Kay Vess would visit Gorak's suite within Makal's Gambling Parlor to report Crimson Dawn's intentions to Gorak Palas. Palas would then give Vess a payment of credits, and also information on a bounty hunter known as Vail Tormin, who was sent by Zerek Besh to claim Vess' death mark. Vess would then depart, having her reputation increased within the Pyke Syndicate and diminished among Crimson Dawn.[1]
Behind the scenes
While erasing the data, the player can choose to either frame the Pyke Syndicate as demanded, or betray Crimson Dawn instead. Depending on the choice, Kay Vess would meet the corresponding affiliate (Eleera Soi or Gorak Palas) to receive the reward and reputation that also increases and decreases in accordance to the choice.[1]
