- "I'm sorry, you are?"
"Bosnok. I'm Thorden's bookkeeper. Fancy name for a prisoner!"
"I thought prisoners were usually in, you know, cells."
"They call it creative punishment. It's what I get for being so smart! All the Governer's bribes, kickbacks, shady deals. They all go through me." - ―Bosnok introducing himself to Kay Vess
Bosnok was a Gallusian with a knack for numbers. He spent the greater part of his life drifting though the galaxy doing quick and fast-paying jobs. Bosnok became proficient at counting cards in the card game Sabacc, though after picking the wrong table, he was quickly arrested and became a prisoner of the Galactic Empire during the Imperial Era. The Imperial Governor Thorden offered him a job managing records of the Empire's shady dealings on the Outer Rim moon Toshara after seeing great use of the Gallusian's abilities.[1]
