The Imperial Archives was the name commonly applied to the collective data concerning the Galactic Empire that was stored on many linked databases and planets across the galaxy. No single repository for such data existed, and the archives were split into a number of different thematic sections. The historian Beaumont Kin cited many files within the Imperial Archives in his book The Rise and Fall of the Galactic Empire^[1] in 35 ABY.^[2]

Description

The Imperial Archives was the name of a collection of information regarding the Galactic Empire that was stored in databanks across the galaxy. The collection was segmented into different sections pertaining to specific subjects, and each section contained various files.^[1]
