Hyperspace Stories: Grievous is an upcoming graphic novel in the Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories series of graphic novels featuring General Grievous. It will be written by Michael Moreci, illustrated by Caio Filipe and Dan Jackson, and published by Dark Horse Comics on March 17, 2026.

Publisher's summary

Count Dooku has sent General Grievous to conquer the jungle planet of Katou. It's an opportunity to prove Grievous' worth to his Sith masters. The herders of Katou are no match for the mechanized monster. Still, when Jedi Knight Cardiff Baye and his clone troopers arrive, Grievous takes to the forest for a stealthier approach.

Can the general's brute strength defeat the heroes of the Republic, or will his beastly nature be his downfall?

Development

Author Michael Moreci teased an upcoming graphic novel via a Tweet on November 28, 2023. In his Tweet, he shared the beginning of the script, with the story's name blurred out but the statement that the first page was made up of four panels included.^[3] On May 4, 2025, artist Caio Filipe shared uncolored art from the graphic novel for Star Wars day. According to Filipe, they had recently started work on the story at that time.^[4] Following the graphic novel's official announcement, Filipe shared more uncolored art on June 30.^[5] The release date was originally announced as January 13, 2026,^[6] before being delayed to January 27,^[7] February 10, February 17, February 24, March 3, March 10,^[8] and then March 17.^[1]
