"Hauler's Keep is under the supervision of the Miyuki Trade League. Violence on board will be tolerate."
―An announcement onboard Hauler's Keep[1]

Hauler's Keep was a space station built into an asteroid within the Khepi system of Wild Space. Originally a prospering mining station it was eventually taken over by the Miyuki Trade League which operated it as a trading hub and refueling port.

Description

Hauler's Keep consisted of central structure built into the rock of an asteroid. I had at least seven hangers, a cantina, space for offices, ship maintenance and fuel storage. The station was situated near the Sayma Nebula within the Khepi system giving it access to both the nebula and debris of the former planet Khepi.[1]

History

Once a prosperous mining station, Hauler's Keep was eventually taken over by the Miyuki Trade League which managed to take a cut from the continued mining operations, including that of aurodium. The station was the only refueling station and trading hub in the system. This gave the League the power to deny individuals that interfered with their operations access to the station and it's fuel and breathable air.[1]

At some point during the Imperial Era, an expedition to study the Sayma nebula was conducted from the station by Professor Gil Orum from the Imperial Science Academy. During which, Orum hired a number of locals to rig up improvised magnetoshields for expedition's ship in order to allow the team to penetrate the outer layers of the nebula.[1] Cycles before 3 ABY,[2] the Mining Guild pulled out of the system.[1]

By 3 ABY,[2] the Miyuki interests on the station were overseen by a Twi'lek named Reess Passik. Two other members of the trade league, Jagra and Wynik Voz operated stores on the station.[1]

After bouncing between the Pyke Syndicate, the Hutt Cartel and Crimson Dawn, Jinnjo Blorgh was stationed to the Hauler's Keep to observe the operations of the Miyuki Trade League and report back to the Dawn. He later met Kay Vess aboard Hauler's Keep, the same scoundrel who had helped him leave and join the various syndicates, who he asked yet again to help him leave his current syndicate.[1]
