Narkina 2 (talk - history - links - logs - delete - protect)

Originally, Narkina 2 was based of a mention in a "Andor Explained" article on Star Wars.com, that we agreed was likely just a typo for Narkina 5, so we redirected it there. Since then however, Star Wars Insider 233 has stated that Narkina 2 was the location of Dedra Meero's prison cell. The original forum: Forum:TC:Narkina 2

Restore

  1. Yeah while the StarWars.com mention seemed like an error, this time they're flat-out telling us it's Narkina 2. Insider is a Canon source, and ignoring it, I don't like that we're just disregarding official information because it could be an error. Maybe they did make it up or it just slipped through, but if Insider doesn't have quality-control then that's on them, not us. We should document what is given.   15. I do believe that Insider has again repeated off-hand comments and hypothetical stuff made in jest from interviews, but given the popularity of Narkina-Number-Two specifically, I think it's cool to treat this as a happy accident #AccidentalCanon OOM 224 22:11, 8 September 2025 (UTC)

  17. I understand that this was a fictitious location in Gilroy's statement in the interview, but it can actually be brought to IU afterwards. There is no way to be 100% certain that this is not canon and that Star Wars Insider made a mistake. あざした (talk) 01:07, 9 September 2025 (UTC)

  19. I agree somewhat with Cade but I simultaneously feel it's not really up to us to determine without verification what is and isn't double-checked by LFL. Keep redirected to Narkina 5

  1. Seems OOU information written in IU phrasing, but Tony Gilroy's interview using "Narkina 2" as an offhand hypothetical place and the Insider Intel using Denise Gough's words from another interview convinces me this isn't a real IU place. --Vitus InfinitusTalk 16:37, 8 September 2025 (UTC)
