Edit on Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope
Hello,<> Why have you made this edit on the Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope page, which changes the date of the film from 0 BBY/0 ABY to 0 BBY? The film shows events taking place after the battle of Yavin (so in 0 ABY), such as the Royal Award Ceremony. Legogryf (yes?) 20:02, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
- Hi! According to the reference book Star Wars: Timelines in 2023, the events of EP4 are dated "0", including the Royal Award Ceremony. And 0 ABY begins after this event. Therefore, the Royal Award Ceremony does not occur in 0 ABY. Also, 0 BBY does not appear in this book; given that the year 0 BBY does not strictly exist, it effectively means that 0 BBY is obsolete, but we interpret "0" = 0 BBY, then the events of EP4 occured in 0 BBY. あざした (talk) 23:02, 11 June 2025 (UTC)
