Sourcing

Thank you for contributing to Wookieepedia! Please note that your edit to Yoda/Legends added unverified information to a mainspace article. Additions to Wookieepedia's articles must be verifiable by a reliable source per our sourcing policy, and unverified information may be reverted or deleted. Continuing to add unverified information may lead to you being blocked from editing by an administrator. Thank you. JediMasterMacaroni(Talk) 06:19, 6 August 2021 (UTC)

Referencing

Hello, SaintSirNicholas. When editing articles, please make sure that you format references correctly. They should be written as <ref name="Name">Source</ref>, not <ref>Source</ref>, and then as <ref name="Name" /> Please let me know if you have any questions about how to do this. Thank you. Speculation

Please do not add speculation to Wookieepedia. All information must be directly attributable to a reliable, published source. OOM 224 16:35, 24 September 2021 (UTC)

Tapas in Crosscurrent

Hi SaintSirNicholas, I saw you added Crosscurrent as an appearance to Tapas, however, I checked the novel and I can't find where it is used in the book. The closest I can find is the regular references to the "warmth of the Force" but that is a descriptor used even when the person is inside a warm environment like inside a ship (e.g. "Jaden dwelled in the comforting warmth of the Force" or "He relaxed as he fell into the Force. Its touch comforted him, warmed him, steadied him"), but nothing I can find suggests specifically using the Force to stay warm. Would you be able to help point me to the part of the book that you found shows Tapas being used? Cheers, grunny@wookieepedia:~$ 09:06, 22 October 2021 (UTC)

Thanks! As I mentioned, that's a description used throughout for how the Force feels to the user, rather than specifically using the Force to keep warm in a cold environment. Cheers, grunny@wookieepedia:~$ 14:46, 23 October 2021 (UTC)

Manual of Style and speculation

Hello there, SaintSirNicholas! I've noticed these things come up in several of your edits. Please review the Wookieepedia:Manual of Style for how to capitalize the Force, dark side, and light side. "The Force" is always capitalized, while "dark side" and "light side" are not. If a source does not specify a particular detail—like which specific Force power is being used or the name of a particular lightsaber form—you can't cite that detail to that source since it isn't present there. Instead, you should provide a citation that does contain the relevant detail or add a reference note explaining it. If it can't be cited, it's speculation. Finally, when you're adding citations, we recommend Source Editor since the Visual Editor mode is known for introducing errors. For instance, VE may lead to duplicating a reference already defined (seen here; "Episode V" has previously been named). I'm not sure if there are any workarounds for that besides switching editor modes. MTFBWY! Immi Thrax RainbowRebellion2 (she/her) (talk) 01:24, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
