Narkina 2 (talk - history - links - logs - delete - protect)

So, there's been a lot of hubbub about this, but all of the "mentions" of Narkina 2 are very deliberately hypotheticals. They're not mentioned in an official capacity; the Andor Explained mention is a very clear typo and the wording even makes it clear that the prison Meero is in is only reminiscent of the Narkina 5 prison. This should be covered in the BTS of Narkina 5 until such a time that it's mentioned in an official IU source.

  7. StarWars.com Even these Andor Stars Were Creeped Out by the Series' Strangest Power Couple on StarWars.com (backup link) uses very similar wording but says reminiscent of Narkina 5, so the Andor Explained article is definitely a typo. Rsand 30 (talk) 01:01, 23 May 2025 (UTC)

Alright, here’s my thoughts on this (I am the person who made the article):

- I mostly created this article to stop people saying that Dedra Meero was imprisoned on Narkina 2 (a result of the episode guide confusion), because this has not been confirmed

-I see what you’re saying about even though Tony Gilroy’s comments about Narkina 2, but I also think we shouldn’t just assume that. Like we often do with these wiki articles, we don’t assume. For example, even as male as a character looks, we use “they/them” unless their pronouns are explicitly stated; Even as much as it is likely this is a typo, unless StarWars.com edits the typo, I do not suggest deleting it. This is paired with the fact ‘Star Wars Explained’, a YouTuber who has somewhat regular contact with Lucasfilm, keeps saying it, and the article would likely have ben corrected by now if it really was a typo. I too am assuming here though, so I guess take away from this what you will. It probably wouldn't be as directly clear that dedra meero wasn't imprisoned here on the narkina 5 article since that article is longer

Again, like I said before, I do get every point you made, and am fine with it getting deleted, but I do not recommend doing so for the reasons above
