- "All I can do is root myself like coral trees and live through it because the only other choice is not living."
- ―Iana Percei, to Gella Nattai, about war
Coral trees were a type of tree that grew on the Outer Rim planet Eiram. The trees shared their name with coral,[1] a type of stationary plant-like organism.[2] While in the village U'ronoh on the Outer Rim planet E'ronoh[1] in 382 BBY,[3] Iana Percei, the settlement's marshal, conversed with the Jedi Knight Gella Nattai, telling the latter that she opted to continue residing on only one planet—rooting herself down like a coral tree—because she believed war to be inescapable.[1] Later that year,[3] during a skirmish at the wedding of Eiram and E'ronoh's heirs—Prince Phan-tu Zenn and Princess Xiri A'lbaran—in the Erasmus City Center, a Lurmen bounty hunter climbed a coral tree to confront Jedi Master Creighton Sun and Jedi Knight Aida Forte.[1]
