The Clacis sector was a part of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the New Territories,[2] located southwest of the Raioballo sector world Lah'mu.[1] It contained the Bisellia, Cezith, Dactruria, Endoraan, Fodro, Gwori, Karka, Korrus, Kwevron, Ord Sedra, Praya, Shramar, and Venestria systems, which were situated in grid squares K-4 and J-4 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[3] By 5 ABY,[5] during the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the nascent New Republic,[6] the Clacis sector[7] world Korrus contributed to the Imperial Military.[6] Korrus was connected[8] by the Braxant Run[4] hyperspace route to the Muunilinst and Ord Trasi systems.[8] The starship manufacturing company Gwori Revolutionary Industries[9] originated from the Gwori system.[9][10]
Behind the scenes
The Clacis sector was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the StarWars.com article "Where in the Galaxy Are the Worlds of Rogue One?." The article was written by Mark Newbold and published on January 31, 2017.[1]
In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Clacis sector was first mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[11] The sector was illustrated on a map designed by Modi and included in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas.[12] The StarWars.com Online Companion to The Essential Atlas later placed the Praya system in the Clacis sector,[13] thereby also establishing the planet Praya's appearance in an in-universe video advertisement in the[14] 1989[15] Star Tours theme park in Tokyo, Japan as the de facto earliest appearance of the Clacis sector.[14]

Where in the Galaxy Are the Worlds of Rogue One? on StarWars.com (article) (backup link), applies to the canon hyperspace route depicted on the map that matches the depiction of the Star Wars Legends route with the same name in The Essential Atlas per Jason Fry (@jasoncfry.bsky.social.) on Bluesky (post on January 3, 2025): "They are indeed the same. Same galaxy, same map. In the rare event something needs to be changed, it will be discussed. (In response to: Hi @jasoncfry.bsky.social, was hoping you could confirm for Wookieepedia purposes that the hyperspace routes depicted on the Galaxy Map given out at Celebration are intended to be the same routes as in Legends. Sorry to bother, but would make our lives much easier to have it confirmed!)" (screenshot).

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Gwori Revolutionary Industries in relation to Gwori system.
