This species was a sentient species[1] native to in Teres Lutha Minor. Caysin Bog was a member of this species.[2]
Biology and appearance
This humanoid species was distinguished by their fair skin[1] and acclimation to high-gravity environments such as their home world, Teres Lutha Minor.[2]
Species in the galaxy
One member of this species, Caysin Bog,[2] was blown apart during a raid by the Partisans on the moon Jedha[3] prior to 1 BBY,[4] being saved and reconstructed as a cyborg by the surgeon Cornelius Evazan,[3] serving as a prototype for the Decraniated,[5] though he was eventually killed by rejected Imperial experiments in the space station Hivebase-1 around 1 ABY.[6]
Behind the scenes
The species made their onscreen debut in the 2016 film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, directed by Gareth Edwards.[1] They were originally designed by creature concept designer and sculptor Ivan Manzella, starting off as a furry green being, but eventually losing the hair.[7]
