Palpatine's cane
A cane, also known as a walking stick, was a device used to assist an individual in walking.[1]
Many individuals in the galaxy owned canes, including Emperor Sheev Palpatine, who owned a black walking cane,[2] Jedi Master Yoda,[3] who owned a gimer stick given to him by the Wookiees,[4] and Luke Skywalker.[5]
Some Force-users incorporated detachable lightsabers into their canes, such as elderly Jedi Master Tera Sinube and former Sith Lord Maul.[6]
In 35 ABY,[7] Landonis Balthazar Calrissian used a cane, the head of which was carved in the shape of Cloud City and included his name as an inscription.[8]
