The Bootana Hutta, also known as the Garden of the Hutts,[2] was a centralized region of Hutt Space that held several Hutt throneworlds, which was unlike the rest of the Oversector, and not directly affiliated with Hutt Space.

Description

The Bootana Hutta

The Bootana Hutta

The worlds of the Bootana Hutta were transected by the Pabol Hutta route which was guarded by the Hutt fortress worlds of Mulatan and Gos Hutta that boasted several Hutt warships. Due to the secretive nature of these worlds, offworlders were rare in this region, and mainly appeared only as slaves.[1]

Kajidic rivalries were muted within the borders of the Bootana Hutta, and open violence was rare. Many kajidics whose influence had all but evaporated still retained their throneworlds as melancholy reminders of their lost status.[1]

History

It was rumored that the Yuuzhan Vong were not able to infiltrate the Bootana Hutta, though the remainder of Hutt Space was devastated. The region was believed to be the source of a mysterious biotechnology that allowed the Hutts to resist the Vongforming efforts of the Yuuzhan Vong.[1]

Planets

Behind the scenes

This region is mistakenly named Boonta in the Star Wars: Edge of the Empire Core Rulebook.[13]
