Sakidopa was a planet[2] of the Sakidopa system, situated in the Bootana Hutta area in the Hutt Space portion of the Slice.[1] A secret hyperlane linked it to the Saki system.[2]
The Sakiyans of the planet Sakiya—also known as Saki—settled Sakidopa—the name of which, meaning "Second Saki,"[2] was shared with "dopa," the Huttese word for "two."[3] Sakidopa was established as a mining colony to support the repulsorlift manufacturing industry that developed on Sakiya and was considered a part of the group known as the Sakiyan Collective.[2]
On Sakidopa, the Sakiyans mined the exotic element graxitium, which they shipped off for enrichment at a facility near the Godsheart pulsar and ultimately used to produce repulsorlift circuitry.[2] As with other Sakiyan colony worlds, the fate of Sakidopa in the aftermath of Hutt Space's invasion by the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong species[1] in 26 ABY[4] was not widely known.[1]

Sakidopa was introduced in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed it in grid square S-11.[1]
