Bareesh, alternatively known as the Bareesh Cartel or the Bareesh Clan, was a Hutt kajidic led by Tassaa Bareesh during the Cold War. They were part of the Hutt Cartel and operated from several planets, including Nal Hutta, where they had a weapons auction, and on Nar Shaddaa, where they were led by Bareesh Fenn'ak Torill. By the time of the Galactic Civil War, the Bareesh clan's power had faded significantly, and their throneworld Kor Bareesh lay in ruins after a supervolcano buried much of the main continent in ash and lava several centuries prior.
