A battle took place during the Galactic Civil War between the Galactic Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. During the battle, Imperial Star Destroyers clashed against mainly Mon Cala warships including some dating back to the Clone Wars.[1]
Behind the scenes
The battle goes on unnamed in its only appearance in Canon where it is depicted on the "Card: Predator" from Star Wars: X-Wing Second Edition. But it was previously named the Disaster at Deepspace Besh in Legends.[1][5]

Therefore, the Galactic Civil War must have begun by 4 BBY. "The Birth of the Rebellion" — Star Wars Encyclopedia states that the Galactic Civil War, which ended in 5 ABY according to Star Wars: Galactic Atlas, lasted nine years, meaning that it must have begun in 4 BBY.
